Wow, Kaitlyn. I wanted to stop by and learn more about you after our conversation on Notes yesterday and discovering those magical synchronicities. Turns out, there are more!! We not only got sober around the same time...but I used to live in Chiang Mai, practice yoga daily, and have a connection (albeit a different one) to China. (I'm a TCM doctor and was previously a college instructor and dean in the medicine...plus have spent time travelling there.) So wild, this Universe and web of existence! ❤️
No way!!!! How wild!!! 🤯 The web of connection keeps getting deeper and deeper. I also don't think I mentioned, but I almost moved to BC to study your TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) but life had other plans. I'm still really interested in learning more because it's so fascinating to me and I think it would be a nice addition to the work I do now. I've thought about studying in China as well. I wonder if you have any school recommendations or resources that you could share (or maybe posts you've written if there are any in relation)? I have some self-guided courses online - including one in TCM foundations, which is the starting place for any TCM program and the same curriculum I taught at colleges. My courses aren't for college credit or anything (although they are certified as CEUs for acupuncturists and practitioners). I have lots I could share about TCM education and choosing between colleges if you ever want to chat about that. I should qualify that "my" TCM stands for Traditional Chinese Medicine, because I just saw that you have a different TCM in your background!!
