New moon in Aquarius is what I have to blame for all the shit that’s happened since February? Good to know. What date, exactly? Wondering if I can tie that to a specific event that was the first domino to fall in this craptacular year.
Oh no, Nate! I'm sorry you're having a rough year. I wouldn't say it's to blame, but I would say it's a good time period to check in and see what might be asking to be changed or evolved since then.
The new moon happened on February 9th, 2024 but depending on your own chart it may there may be other factors at play. It's a big year of awakening and unexpected change, that's for sure! I hope it gets better for you.
I am a moon child, born under sign for Cancer and on a Thursday no less so these posts line right up with me. Right now, this speaks clearly "at this pressure point between authenticity and expectations" and letting those blend one into the other for synchronicity. Why do I have trouble sleeping the night of a Full Moon? Some studies say that the mechanism is not fully understood, but it's believed the Moon's light levels and gravitational pull may impact the production of melatonin, the hormone that regulates sleep. Even small changes in ambient light from the Moon can disrupt melatonin secretion.
Thank you for sharing, Gary! The full moon energy is potent, that's for sure. And with Uranus in the mix, it can stir up extra electricity in our bodies. I've been needing extra grounding and my stress levels have been through the roof for no apparent reason. It's fascinating how these things can affect us!
This resonates so deeply with what's happening in my life right now! Astrology usually feels too distant, even irrelevant, but you bring so much thoughtful compassion--it's lovely! Thanks, Kaitlyn!
You know, I remember being quite "scared" with all the news around the Jupiter/Saturn conjunction in Aquarius. With my Jupiter in Aquarius, I had no idea what to expect (which makes sense, because energy is always fluid, haha). But looking back, while these years were very challenging, with my burnout smack in the middle aka The Pause, it gave me a change to really shed away old layers of self, to reconnect to my creativity and what brings me joy and happiness. The Full Moon we just experienced actually felt like a grounding energy to me. I had spent a full day working on my site, things flowed and I found myself wondering why I didn't work on it sooner, though I know the answer to that question. I do experience some tension as I find my footing between the energies, but I know that as long as I move towards what feels authentic to me, I'm on right path. ✨
I ended the day by staring at the moon, to thank her for the light she continued to shine, whether she's visible or not. 🥰
Thank you so so much for this moment of pause and reflection, my love! I don't know a lot about astrology, just enough to add a layer of clarity to what I'm going through and reading your posts are a wonderful addition to my world. ❤💃
I love hearing about this full circle moment you've experienced. It makes so much sense relating it back to your own natal Jupiter in Aquarius, and at that time in 2020 you would've been experiencing your Jupiter return, which means a cycle was closing and beginning around your own beliefs, joy, and outlook on life. WOW. 🤯
The Aquarian energy really is all about authenticity—it shakes us up to be sure that we're operating as authentically as possible in the moment, and what I got from reading your comment is that you're now in this place of honouring your true self.
I feel emotional just reading and reflecting on what you've written here, because it feels like such a gift—not only to you, but to those who get to experience you in this full state of being yourself. I can feel this from you every time we connect. So thank you for being you, all of you ❤️
I COMPLETELY forgot to twirl back again, but had to quickly say thank you for sharing your beautiful words and wisdom with me! I had no idea about my Jupiter Return, but it makes even more sense now. 🤗 *HUGS*
Beautiful post my dear. I don’t know what it was about this moon, but what Gary said! I sleep like a baby and last night I could not sleep at all!! I ended up getting out of bed, actually pouring a glass of wine, and dancing. Perhaps manifesting. That is my moon energy!
I feel this!! My sleep has been off too, there is a lot of Uranian energy in the air (which can manifest as insomnia/anxiety/electricity in the body) so movement and grounding is so so helpful!!
Kaitlyn, I always appreciate your gentle nudges! I especially like the framework for looking back and seeing what changes have occurred from a particular astrological moment. Thank you!
Thank you so much for the mention, Kaitlyn, and for offering such heart-sourced, wise guidance as always.
Your message about tensions reaching a breaking point and letting go of what’s not fully aligned is spot on for me this week. I finally took steps to free myself from something work-related that’s been a weight for years. Feels so right, and I feel much lighter already. ❤️
